Michelle went to high school in Spartanburg prior to attending the University of Georgia, where she obtained her BS in Family and Consumer Sciences. After college, Michelle spent eight years working prior to attending law school. Most of that time was with Sherwin-Williams Paint Company in the Lowcountry.
Michelle attended Charleston School of Law where she graduated cum laude. While earning her J.D., Michelle served as Associate Editor, Student Works Edition for the Charleston Law Review, president of the Student Federal Bar Association, member of the Trial Advocacy Board, and received the Giving Back Award for Outstanding Efforts in Public Service and Leadership.
After graduation, a judicial clerkship brought Michelle back to the Upstate in 2015. She has remained here since. Michelle practiced in Greenville for several years prior to joining Ford Harrison in Spartanburg. Her practice is focused on representing employers in employment and labor law issues.
When not working Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, hiking, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
